Cotton & Company is pleased to welcome Kim Butler as Director of Audience Strategy. In this new role, she will oversee the agency’s Media Department which includes a team of digital and traditional media buyers. As Director, Butler will lead the agency’s media relations, event planning, public relations, and affiliate marketing initiatives for Cotton & Company clients across the country.
Kim is a seasoned public relations and marketing executive who has excelled in establishing successful advertising, promotional, and marketing programs in industries, such as casino and entertainment, commercial real estate, economic development, travel and tourism, and hospitality.
Butler relocated to South Florida in 2014 to take the helm as VP Marketing Communications for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. There, she led the team to multiple industry marketing awards for both domestic and international campaigns and innovations expanding awareness of the destination at the state and national levels.
Other roles from her extensive marketing career include Director of Marketing Communications for the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority in Atlantic City, New Jersey, General Manager and Marketing Director for Atlantic City Tangier Outlets in Atlantic City, and Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications for Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts in Atlantic City.
Most recently Butler was the Marketing Director for Dania Pointe, a 102-acre premier retail plaza managed by an affiliate of Kimco Realty in Dania Beach, Florida. She was also previously the Marketing Director for the iconic Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.

Butler holds a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and currently resides in Jensen Beach with her husband, Kevin, and beloved Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Bandit.
