For the past several years Kitson and Partners has had to build up its rapport with the public and positively project its vision to make Babcock Ranch a place that businesses will want to relocate to, in turn creating an infrastructure that brings residents and opportunities. Although this project is years from development, Cotton & Company was able to create a platform for public relations on a national and international scale by developing an attractive website that was able to educate the media through videos, a photo gallery, and an up-to-date media and news section. The website was so successful, that it produced 1,470 registrations within the first week.

Another 73,000 acres, known as The Babcock Ranch Preserve, have been preserved by the state of Florida and Lee County in the largest single land preservation agreement in the state's history. Fully encompassed smart homes with programmed wake-up features, automated home cooling and heating features, and digital shopping list developed from an automated inventory system; a 240-acre downtown lake; parks; trails; shops; restaurants; a state-of-the-art wellness and fitness center; and learning opportunities that will include a Discovery Center, a Nature Center, and an environmental research station operated by Florida Gulf Coast University.
