One Thousand Ocean Luxury Event The ‘Talk Of The Town’

Posted on March 1, 2011 | Read time: 2 minutes

Nearly 400 guests, including some of South Florida’s most sophisticated and stylish residents recently attended a “Celebration of Luxury” in a location renowned for it- One Thousand Ocean.

The developer of the new Atlantic Ocean-to-Intracoastal condominium in Boca Raton graciously welcomed partygoers who were initially greeted by the sight of a 2011 Ferrari California parked in front of the arrival court, compliments of Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale. Guests were guided into the iconic, contemporary building where they then were swept by elevator to the largest of four recently released penthouses.

There, sumptuous hor d’oevres and libations merged with live music and vocals, as statuesque fashion models in glittering gowns from Zola Keller glided across the exquisite interior spaces that total 8,770 square feet (not to mention the 4,000-plus square feet of terraces).

A dazzling showcase of jewels by Levinson Jewelers also attracted admirers, as did a display of Tungsten W biometric wallets and information provided by RoboVault.

Media sponsor City & Shore was represented at the soiree as well, and sports celebrities Kim Bokamper and Cliff Floyd mingled with the delighted crowd. Bokamper, a former NFL veteran with the Miami Dolphins, is a local TV broadcaster and part of the Miami Dolphins radio team. Floyd, a former Major League Baseball outfielder who was a member of the 1997 World Series winning Florida Marlins, is no a sports radio show host.

“It was a magical night of luxury, glamour and good taste in an unparalleled setting for living,” noted Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts. AN LXR affiliate developed the condominium, which is adjacent to the Boca Raton Resort’s Boca Beach Club. “We were very pleased to have hosted this event which drew such tremendous interest.”

One Thousand Ocean features Residences, Beach Villas and The Penthouse Collection at prices spanning from approximately $3 million to $15 million. Thirty-two of the 52 residences have already been sold and closed, and many of the residents are enjoying their new home this season.
