As Director of Audience Strategy, Kim Butler oversees the agency’s activities for all digital, social and traditional media buys and media relations, social media strategies, and lending event, PR and Marketing and experience for Cotton & Co clients across the board. Butler is a seasoned Public Relations and Marketing executive who has excelled in establishing successful Advertising, Promotional and Marketing programs in industries, such as Casino and Entertainment, Commercial Real Estate, Economic Development, Travel and Tourism and Hospitality, first in Southern NJ and most recently in South Florida. Butler located to South Florida in 2014 to take the helm as VP Marketing Communications for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. There, she led the team to multiple industry marketing awards for both domestic and international campaigns and innovations expanding awareness of the destination at the state and national levels. Butler established two subsequent firsts as Director of Marketing for Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and most recently, Dania Pointe, a mixed-use development in Dania Beach.
Butler was recognized in 2009 as Businesswoman of the Year by the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. She has served on several Chamber and Economic Development boards and is currently on the Advisory Board of the Winterfest Boat Parade and a member of the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Butler holds a bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and currently resides in Jensen Beach with her husband, Kevin and beloved Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Bandit.
